The Lakeshore Garage Bus Hoist Replacement project involved the removal of fourteen (14) in-ground two-post hoists and four (4) surface-mounted two-post hoists in an existing operational maintenance facility. The replacement hoists included ten (10) two-post scissor hoists, one (1) parallelogram hoist, three (3) surface-mounted side-post hoists and one (1) four-post vertical platform list. The project was phased to ensure the day-to-day operation of the maintenance facility was not disrupted.
Scope of work included dewatering, contaminated water treatment, structural removal, piles and new pit construction.
